Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
His father, James Chester Reynolds, was a food wholesaler and former Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman. His mother, Tammy Reynolds, worked in retail sales. He is the youngest of four brothers. Reynolds attended Kitsilano Secondary School in Vancouver, graduating in 1994. Briefly attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University but dropped out to pursue acting full-time.
