Early Life and Training

Of Mexican (father) and Mexican–Puerto Rican (mother) descent. Her maternal great-grandmother immigrated from Sinaloa, Mexico. Fourth of six children. Grew up in a supportive, tight-knit family. Wanted to act from age six. A home video at nine led to her signing with an agency. Auditioning in LA while maintaining school in California.
